On the organizational front, a 21st century company was depicted as having intellectual property centralized but just about everything else decentralized — markets, infrastructure, ability to respond to local needs. The ideas for the new organization, interestingly, pointed back to the first discussion about what people wanted from this meeting — a network of relationships, ideas, full participation in solutions. The network IS the organization and this meeting was a first step.
